The Safety Manager provides strategic leadership and oversight for all safety, health, and environmental initiatives within the facility. As a key member of the Plant Leadership Team, this role is responsible for driving continuous improvement in workplace safety, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a sustainable culture of safety excellence.
The Safety Manager serves as a trusted advisor to site leadership, developing and implementing proactive safety strategies that reduce risk, prevent injuries, and support operational performance. This position champions employee engagement, accountability, and best practices to achieve world-class safety results while ensuring compliance with OSHA and other applicable regulations.
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business Administration, Management, or a related field required. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
Minimum of 3 years of progressive Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or food production environment. Experience leading safety programs, compliance initiatives, investigations, and employee training.
