About this job:

Provides the planning, coordination, and direction for District capital projects to ensure they meet District needs, specifications, cost and schedule, from initial project identification through construction closeout. Oversees facility planners, construction managers, administrative and other related staff.

What You'll Do:

• Manages staff performing facility assessments for existing and future capital projects/needs with required scopes of work, cost estimates, and prioritization for capital reinvestment and new construction projects for the annual Master Capital Plan.
• Oversees day-to-day operations for the team including directing, managing, mentoring, training, grievance handling, performance evaluations, discipline and terminations for several professional and technical District staff.
• Responsible for all qualified vendor architects, consultants and contractors performing work for the District necessary for the design, construction, construction management and planning activities for the capital program, including the bond program.
• Assists in the development and maintenance of long-range capital plans for District facilities and necessary capital expenditures for new construction and capital reinvestment.
• Acts as liaison between the District, school site administrators, parents and staff, architects and contractors to assure that the authorized projects are accomplished in accordance with District policies and procedures.

• Education: Bachelors Minimum.
