Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Full Time Location: Dodge City

We are a fast-paced, patient-centered behavioral health clinic dedicated to providing high-quality mental health and substance use treatment services. Our multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to support individuals on their path to recovery and wellness. We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our busy behavioral health clinic. The LPN will play a vital role in supporting psychiatric providers, coordinating patient care, and ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake, including vital signs, medication reconciliation, and health history updates
• Administer medications and injections as ordered (e.g., long-acting injectables)
• Monitor and document patient responses to treatment and report concerns to providers
• Assist with psychiatric evaluations and follow-up appointments
• Coordinate lab work, prior authorizations, and prescription refills
• Provide patient education regarding medications, treatment plans, and wellness strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
• Ensure compliance with clinic policies, state regulations, and confidentiality standards (HIPAA)
• Support crisis intervention efforts as needed
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, case managers, and administrative staff

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• Current and active LPN license in Kansas
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience (behavioral health or psychiatric setting preferred)
• Experience with medication administration, including injectable medications
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• CPR/BLS certification required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient behavioral health or substance use treatment
• Familiarity with psychotropic medications
• Crisis prevention/intervention training
