Loan operations manager

Angott Search Group is partnering with a Tennessee bank to find an experienced Loan Operations Manager to oversee Loan Operations and Centralized Document Processing. This leadership role will focus on loan servicing, documentation, regulatory compliance, process improvements, and staff development while ensuring operational efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily loan operations, centralized document processing, and department staff.
• Oversee loan booking, servicing, payments, collateral documentation, and system maintenance.
• Ensure accurate processing of commercial, consumer, real estate, and SBA loans.
• Review loan documentation, quality control reports, and exceptions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee specialized loan transactions, including charge-offs, bankruptcies, foreclosures, and non-accruals.
• Prepare and review operational, delinquency, and SBA reporting.
• Collaborate with lenders, management, and internal teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Drive operational improvements, risk management initiatives, and staff development.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of loan operations experience covering commercial and consumer lending.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing and developing teams.
• Strong knowledge of loan documentation, collateral perfection, servicing, and banking regulations.
• Experience with LaserPro, Fiserv, and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive operational efficiency.
• Associate degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
