Join our highly rated emergency medicine team and grow your career! TeamHealth has a full-time opportunity available for an experienced EM physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our emergency department team at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Prior ED or urgent care experience preferred. Eligible PA/NP must be ACLS and PALS certified.

Located in Somerset, Kentucky, Lake Cumberland Regional Medical Center is a 23-bed ED, 295-bed hospital, with an annual volume well over 42,000 per year. Lake Cumberland earned the high performing hospital ratings for Stroke from US News & World Report and an Advanced Certified Primary Stroke Center.

Somerset, Kentucky, is located near Lake Cumberland. With activities like hiking, camping, boating, water skiing, jet skiing and fishing, 50,000-acre Lake Cumberland is one of the largest recreational lakes in the state. A fisherman's dream, Lake Cumberland is loaded with crappie, bream, walleye, trout, catfish, and all of the five species of bass (largemouth, smallmouth, white, Kentucky, and rock). There are many local county marinas and state parks in the area, such as Cumberland Falls State Park that is the location of the 2nd largest waterfall in the eastern U.S. and is one of only a few known locations in the world where moonbows regularly appear.

A 295-bed acute care facility, Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital provides quality care for an 11-county region in south central Kentucky. Facility services include complete cardiac care, a neurosurgery program rated among the best in the nation, a complete clinical laboratory, 24-hour emergency care, intensive care units, surgical services and diagnostic imaging. Specialized service offerings include women's health, pediatrics, a Level II neonatal nursery, cardiopulmonary care and behavioral health. With a staff of more than 1,200 personnel, Lake Cumberland Regional Medical Center is home to more than 170 physicians representing 38 different specialties.
