Clinical Laboratory Scientist

Schedule Evening shift starting at 1 PM, typically an 8-hour shift, but may extend until 10 PM on occasion.

Assignment Details

No on-call duties required.

Requirements

• BS or BA in Medical Technology or related sciences.
• Two years of experience in all aspects of clinical laboratory work.
• Currently licensed as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist by the State of California.
• EPIC experience required; Wellsky experience highly preferred.
• Able to handle stressful situations, multitask, and follow up effectively.
• Strong communication and diplomatic skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and analyses accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and laboratory protocols.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and perform troubleshooting as necessary.
• Provide guidance to co-workers and assist with training when needed.
• Document laboratory results and communicate findings to appropriate personnel.
