Laboratory Technician

Schedule 4X10 Hour Days, 9:00am - 7:00pm. Days are flexible based on facility needs.

Assignment Details

1 Full-Time Day Shift opening for 13 weeks, ASAP start.

Requirements

• ASCP or AMT certification required at time of submission.
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred.
• Blood bank experience is a plus.
• Venipuncture skills required.
• Ability to perform daily quality control and maintenance per guidelines.
• Experience in operation and troubleshooting of chemistry, hematology, coagulation, and UA analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to universal precautions standards.
• Complete testing in a timely and concise manner.
• Communicate effectively with patients, lab staff, and physicians.
• Maintain professionalism and courtesy in conduct.
• Perform miscellaneous testing as required.
• Contribute to overall quality of performance and conduct.
