A catering group in Burke, VA is looking for a great Kitchen Manager/Garde Manger to add to their team!

Qualifications

• Has 4-5 years of culinary experience in a leadership role.
• Skilled in large-scale plating, including the creation of grazing boards, fruit displays, and elegant platter presentations.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume catering operations and coordinate multiple large orders simultaneously.
• Posses a Valid Drivers License.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including slicing fruits and vegetables, cutting meats, making sauces, and assembling both hot and cold entrées.
• Create visually appealing appetizers, charcuterie, grazing boards, sandwiches, and salads for box lunches.
• Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and kitchen team to cook and prepare menu items according to established standards.
• Follow recipes and plating guidelines to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation.
• Set up and stock workstations with all necessary ingredients and supplies.
