As the Kitchen Manager / Sous Chef, you will oversee kitchen operations, ensuring that our dishes uphold the highest quality standards. You will play a crucial role in menu development, staff management, and maintaining a seamless workflow in the kitchen, all while contributing to the ambiance that defines our restaurant's unique dining experience. We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $75,000 annually, alongside an engaging workplace culture that fosters creativity and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations and manage kitchen staff
• Assist in menu planning and development with a focus on seafood dishes
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
• Train and mentor kitchen staff, enhancing their culinary skills
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
• Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent customer service
• Implement cost control measures to optimize kitchen efficiency

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or Sous Chef in a restaurant
• Strong understanding of seafood preparation and cooking techniques
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant culinary degree or certification is preferred
