Kitchen manager - casual dining high volume

NextGen Hospitality Solutions is currently seeking a Kitchen Manager for our high-volume casual dining establishment in Newport News. Responsibilities

• Manage daily kitchen operations and staff schedules
• Ensure food quality, safety, and hygiene standards are met
• Oversee inventory management and food costing

• Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure seamless operations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in kitchen management, preferably in high-volume settings
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in inventory and cost management
