Summary

The JHF Events Coordinator provides day-to-day, hands-on support across all phases of Jackson Health Foundation events. This role ensures smooth logistics, strong vendor relationships, and professional execution from initial planning through post-event wrap-up. Working closely with the Director of Events, the coordinator provides logistical support and onsite needs to help deliver high-quality events that advance the Foundation's mission.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, logistics, and coordination for all Foundation events.
• Support vendor communication and maintain accurate tracking of contracts, Certificates of Insurance (COIs), invoices, and related documentation.
• Help maintain event timelines, run-of-show documents, production schedules, and other planning tools.
• Participate in venue walkthroughs, vendor meetings, and pre-event planning sessions.
• Provide onsite event support, including setup, breakdown, vendor coordination, and guest assistance.
• Support post-event follow-up, including documentation, reporting, and file organization.
• Maintain organized digital files and ensure all event documentation is stored accurately and consistently.
• Work evenings and weekends as needed to support event operations.
• Perform all other related job duties as assigned.

Experience

Generally requires 1 to 3 years related experience.

Education

Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred.

Credentials

Valid license or certification is required as needed, based on the job or specialty.
