Department: Interventional Radiology

Shift: Day

Working Hours: 4 days a week, 0700 to 1730, plus call

Summary: The IVR Cath Lab Tech is a skilled Radiology Technologist with essential Interventional Radiology (IVR) and/or Cath Lab training. This role requires independent function during cases, utilizing proper sterile technique, radiation safety, and proficiency in procedure data recording. Effective communication is essential with patients, families, physicians, other staff, management, and all hospital employees.

Other information: Graduate of an approved radiography or cardiovascular tech program. ARRT certification, or RCVT/RCIS. Arkansas Radiologic Technologist license or a limited scope license. Current BLS certification. Must have two years of Cath Lab or IVR experience as a Radiologic Technologist and actively taking call. Cath Lab/EP Lab are required to have ACLS and IVR IVR is recommended to have ACLS. This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
