Sentara is hiring for an Inventory Control Specialist III. This a full time position, fully onsite and offers great benefits!

Overview

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day stock control tasks to support the needs of all Sentara hospitals. The Inventory Control Specialist works as a part of the Stock Control Team to ensure all hospitals have adequate stock on-hand to meet demand while also meeting Sentara's expectation of providing an excellent patient experience.

2 years of related experience in lieu of degree will be considered.

Certification/Licensure

No specific certification or licensure requirements.

Experience

Basic Excel proficiency, including working with existing pivot tables (refreshing, filtering, adjusting fields) is required. Familiarity with Power Query (Preferred). Ability to follow documented steps to refresh and validate reports. Critical thinking, analytical thinking. 3 years Purchasing/Buyer experience preferred. Supply Chain Healthcare experience highly desired.

Compensation

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $60,091.20 - $97,448.00 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
