Role Responsibilities

The Insurance Sales Team Member is responsible for:

• Generating new business through warm and cold leads, referrals, and local outreach
• Consulting with clients to understand their needs and recommending customized insurance plans
• Selling and cross-selling a range of products including Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial Insurance
• Maintaining a pipeline of prospects and consistently following up
• Meeting individual and team sales targets and contributing to agency success
• Providing excellent customer service to foster lasting client relationships
• Documenting all activity in the agency CRM system and keeping records current
• Staying informed on new products, underwriting guidelines, and industry changes

Qualifications & Skills

We’re looking for someone who is goal-oriented, persuasive, and a natural relationship builder. Successful candidates will typically have:

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or insurance (preferred)
• Excellent communication and closing skills
• Confidence in conducting outbound calls and virtual/in-person consultations
• A growth mindset and the ability to take coaching and feedback
• Effective organizational and time management habits
• Active Property & Casualty or Life & Health License (preferred) or willingness to obtain
