This is a growth-focused sales role where you'll help bring new customers into the agency. You'll connect with prospects, uncover their insurance needs, prepare quotes, explain coverage options, and guide them from the first conversation through the decision to become a customer.

Success in this position comes from more than making calls or sending quotes. We're looking for someone who can create momentum—building a pipeline, following up consistently, asking for the business, and developing relationships that contribute to long-term agency growth.

Salary Range

$45,500.00 - $65,000.00 per year

We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their results. You should be comfortable initiating conversations, working through objections, keeping track of multiple opportunities, and following up until you receive an answer. Previous sales experience is valuable because this position requires confidence and consistency, but your ability to learn, accept coaching, and stay motivated is equally important.

You may be a strong fit if you:

• Have previous sales or business development experience
• Active Property & Casualty General Lines License or willing to obtain
• Are confident starting conversations with prospective customers
• Communicate clearly and professionally over the phone
• Enjoy identifying needs and presenting solutions
• Are comfortable asking for the sale and working through objections
• Stay organized with leads, quotes, and follow-up activity
• Can work independently and take ownership of your pipeline
• Are motivated by goals, production expectations, and earning opportunities
• Bring a positive attitude and strong sense of urgency

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

• Generate and develop new insurance sales opportunities
• Connect with prospective customers and identify their coverage needs
• Prepare accurate and personalized insurance quotes
• Present products, coverage options, and recommendations clearly
• Manage leads and opportunities throughout the sales pipeline
• Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects and outstanding quotes
• Handle objections professionally and work toward closing new business
• Build relationships with new and existing customers
• Identify opportunities for additional insurance products
• Maintain knowledge of available insurance products and services
