Top Tech Mechanical Services is an established, family-owned residential and light commercial HVAC company serving Metro Atlanta. We've spent the last several years investing in better systems, technology, pricing, accountability, and training to build a company positioned for long-term success. Now we're looking for the right leader to help take us to the next level. This is not a traditional HVAC Service Manager position. We're looking for someone who can step into our company, take ownership of our field operations, develop our people, improve profitability, strengthen accountability, and help us continue building one of the premier HVAC companies in Georgia.

This position oversees both our Service and Installation Departments and works directly with ownership to improve daily operations and build a stronger organization. What You'll Be Responsible For

• Lead and develop our residential and light commercial Service Department.
• Oversee our Installation Department and support installation leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, profitably, and at the highest quality standards.
• Manage daily field operations for service technicians and installers.
• Work closely with dispatch and office staff to maximize scheduling efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct technician and installer ride-alongs, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
• Review job costing, department profitability, callbacks, warranty expenses, and labor efficiency.
• Ensure technicians and installers follow company processes, pricing, and quality standards.
• Resolve customer escalations professionally and efficiently.
• Recruit, interview, train, mentor, and develop future leaders.
• Continuously improve operational systems, workflows, and overall company performance.
• Work directly with ownership to help drive growth, profitability, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of residential HVAC experience.
• Previous HVAC Service Management or Operations leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of residential HVAC diagnostics, airflow, refrigeration, electrical, combustion, controls, and IAQ.
• Experience managing service technicians and installation teams.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• Experience reviewing KPIs, job costing, profitability, and operational performance.
• Comfortable holding people accountable while building a positive culture.
• Experience with Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, or similar service management software is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Starting Salary: $80,000
