What You’ll Get to Do

The Human Resources Specialist is focused on generalist functions and reports to the HR Manager. This role is perfect for an individual who is hands on with great communication skills. A vital member of the HR team, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Generalist functions including payroll, administrative/recordkeeping tasks related to staffing changes or leaves of absence, etc.
  • Support employee relations by addressing routine inquiries and resolving minor issues.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Consult with and provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, corrective actions).
  • Full cycle recruiting activities: interviewing, selection, and onboarding.

What We Are Looking For

Minimum of 5 years of experience.

Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

SHRM Certified preferred.
