Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator (Bilingual)

Job Description

The Bilingual HR Administrator serves as the first point of contact for employees and visitors while providing day-to-day human resources and administrative support. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, customer-service focused, and comfortable supporting a large Spanish-speaking workforce in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the front desk representative, greeting visitors, employees, and vendors in a professional manner.
• Provide day-to-day HR support for a diverse workforce, including a large population of Spanish-speaking employees.
• Process weekly/biweekly payroll through ADP and review timekeeping records for accuracy.
• Assist employees with payroll-related questions and discrepancies.
• Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Coordinate onboarding activities, orientations, and new hire paperwork.
• Manage employee status changes including hires, terminations, and leave requests.
• Support benefits administration and assist employees with enrollment and general questions.
• Prepare employment verifications and other standard HR documentation.
• Track attendance, PTO, and employee records.
• Coordinate BG checks, drug screenings, and onboarding requirements.
• Support employee relations by responding to routine employee questions and directing concerns appropriately.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
• Assist with HR audits, reporting, and compliance activities.
• Maintain accurate HR files and data within company systems.
• Provide general administrative support to leadership and the HR department as needed.

Essential Skills

• Bilingual in Spanish and English (required).
• 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in Human Resources, Payroll, or Office Administration.
• Experience processing payroll through ADP or a similar payroll system.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a large Spanish-speaking employee population.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience maintaining confidential employee information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Ability to work onsite five days per week.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bilingual, administrative support, human resource administrative, clerical support, payroll.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products, data entry, customer service, clerical, administrative assistance, MS Office Suite.

Work Environment

You’ll regularly interact with employees coming in from the yard with questions, paperwork needs, and HR support requests. A large portion of the workforce is Spanish-speaking, making bilingual communication a key part of the day-to-day. The environment can be high-traffic and interruption-driven, so strong organization and time management are important. Success in this role comes from being approachable and helpful, while also maintaining structure and boundaries to stay on track with priorities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
