Build the Team Behind the Fastest-Growing Name in Luxury Golf.

Golfsheds designs, manufactures, and installs the world's finest luxury golf simulator buildings for high-net-worth homeowners nationwide. We are growing quickly and hiring aggressively across production, installation, and operations.

This is more than an HR role. As our HR Manager, you'll own the people function end to end and build it from the ground up — the hiring engine, the review systems, the compliance backbone, and the culture that keeps a fast-moving, multi-state workforce safe, productive, and bought in.

If you're energized by building scalable systems, protecting a growing company from risk, and developing people in a hands-on environment, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

  • Hiring: Own full-cycle recruiting across production, installation, and office roles, keeping pace with aggressive year-round hiring; forecast headcount against production and install schedules.
  • Onboarding & records: Run a consistent onboarding process; own I-9 and E-Verify, personnel records, and HR systems.
  • Performance: Build and run performance reviews and a consistent, defensible progressive-discipline process; coach managers on feedback and documentation.
  • Compliance & safety: Own multi-state employment-law compliance (FLSA, ADA, EEO, wage-and-hour); maintain the handbook; administer the drug/alcohol program with Medical Review Officer review; partner with operations on safety and OSHA; manage workers' compensation.
  • Payroll & benefits: Administer payroll with accounting — accurate timekeeping, overtime, and field travel pay; manage benefits and open enrollment; ensure correct exempt/non-exempt classification. Implement and monitor HR benefits.
  • Culture & scale: Be the trusted first contact for employees; drive retention and engagement; build repeatable HR systems ready to replicate in new facilities and markets.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including 2+ in an HR Manager or senior generalist role
  • Strong, current knowledge of employment law and multi-state compliance (FLSA, EEO, ADA, wage-and-hour)
  • Hands-on experience owning hiring in a high-volume or fast-growth environment
  • Experience with performance reviews, progressive discipline, drug/alcohol programs, and workers' compensation
  • Experience with payroll, benefits administration, and HR systems
  • Strong judgment and discretion handling sensitive issues and investigations
  • Comfortable building systems from scratch, not just maintaining them

Preferred Qualifications

  • Construction industry HR experience strongly preferred; manufacturing or production a strong plus
  • Experience supporting a non-exempt, hourly, field-based workforce (installers, tradespeople, travel and overtime pay)
  • Experience scaling HR through rapid growth or across multiple sites and states
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification
  • Experience building a safety/OSHA program and implementing HRIS, ATS, or payroll systems
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

What Success Looks Like

In your first year, you'll build a repeatable hiring process that keeps roles filled ahead of demand, stand up consistent reviews across every department, bring the company into clean multi-state compliance with a current handbook, run a defensible drug/alcohol and safety program, establish reliable payroll and recordkeeping, reduce turnover, and create HR systems ready to replicate as we open new facilities and markets.
