  • Coordinate Infection Control Risk Assessments (ICRA) and ensure construction activities follow infection prevention and safety requirements.
  • Support compliance with applicable federal, state, local, healthcare, building, and life-safety regulations.
  • Work with regulatory agencies and officials, including CMS, the South Dakota Department of Health, the South Dakota Board of Pharmacy, and local fire/life-safety authorities, as needed.
  • Coordinate final inspections, testing, commissioning, punch-list completion, and project closeout.
  • Ensure warranties, manuals, as-built drawings, equipment documentation, and other required project records are properly maintained.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong project management, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities in an active healthcare environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with leadership, contractors, vendors, and internal departments.
  • Ability to read and understand architectural, engineering, construction, and equipment documentation.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, project scheduling tools, and standard office software.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify and escalate safety, regulatory, budget, or project risks.
  • Experience with healthcare construction, facility projects, capital improvement projects, or a related field is preferred.
