At CountryHouse Lincoln II, an Agemark Senior Living community, we’re looking for an experienced Health & Wellness Director (RN or LPN) who brings strong clinical expertise, confident leadership, and a passion for exceptional resident care. In this key leadership role, you’ll oversee wellness operations, develop and empower a high-performing care team, and shape the quality of care and resident experience within our community.
Agemark is certified as a Great Place to Work, and our EPIC ACTS values of Excellence, Personal Investment, Celebration, Accountability, Compassion, and Team Spirit reflect our commitment to creating a workplace where leaders are supported, employees are valued, and exceptional care comes first.
What You’ll Do
- Lead & Inspire Your Team: Direct daily wellness operations, coach and develop care staff, and foster a culture of clinical excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
- Champion Quality Resident Care: Oversee individualized care plans, resident assessments, and clinical services to ensure compassionate, person-centered care.
- Drive Clinical Excellence & Compliance: Maintain high standards of care, accurate documentation, and compliance with Nebraska regulations and established clinical protocols.
- Oversee Medication Management: Ensure safe medication practices, proper administration, and adherence to established procedures.
- Build Trusted Partnerships: Serve as a clinical resource and trusted partner to residents, families, physicians, healthcare providers, and community leadership.
- Strengthen Resident Safety: Proactively identify risks, implement preventive strategies, and oversee appropriate responses to changes in resident conditions and emergencies.
- Guide Staff Development: Provide clinical education, training, performance feedback, and mentorship to strengthen team capabilities and retention.
- Partner in Community Leadership: Collaborate with the Executive Director on resident admissions, quality improvement initiatives, staffing needs, and overall community success.
What You’ll Bring
- Nursing Credentials: Active, unrestricted RN or LPN license in Nebraska.
- Senior Care Experience: At least 1 year of experience working with older adults, preferably in senior living, assisted living, memory care, or long-term care.
- Proven Leadership: Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience, with the ability to motivate, develop, and hold teams accountable.
- Clinical Knowledge: Strong understanding of resident assessments, care planning, medication management, and regulatory requirements.
- Sound Judgment: Confidence navigating complex care situations, making informed decisions, and maintaining high standards of resident safety.
- Relationship-Focused Leadership: Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with residents, families, employees, and healthcare partners.
- Organization & Technology: Strong organizational skills and proficiency with electronic documentation and healthcare technology.
- Flexibility: Availability for occasional evenings, weekends, and Manager on Duty responsibilities as needed.
What We Offer
We believe exceptional clinical leaders deserve an environment where they can grow professionally, make meaningful decisions, and feel supported in the work they do.
- Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision coverage, employer-paid life insurance, and additional voluntary benefit options.
- Employer HSA Contributions: Financial support for eligible healthcare expenses through employer contributions to your Health Savings Account.
- Paid Time Off from Day One: Start earning PTO immediately, with time to recharge and maintain balance outside of work.
- Leadership Development & Career Growth: Opportunities to expand your clinical leadership skills, pursue professional development, and advance within Agemark.
- Collaborative Leadership Environment: Work alongside an experienced Executive Director and supportive regional and corporate teams who value your expertise and contributions.
- Employee Assistance Program: Confidential counseling, 24/7 Care Coordinator support, financial and legal resources, coaching, and wellness tools.
- DailyPay: Flexible access to earned wages when you need them.
- Recognition & Referral Bonuses: Programs that recognize outstanding performance, celebrate achievements, and reward employee referrals.
