Key responsibilities in your new role

• Monitor Inventory: Track material movement through ERP to determine purchase requirements and maintain planned inventory levels
• Source Suppliers: Gather quotations from approved vendors, evaluate bids using strategic sourcing criteria, and recommend purchase awards
• Place Orders: Create and manage purchase orders in SAP and other systems to meet production and engineering schedules
• Plan & Forecast: Apply JIT, EOQ, horizon planning and time-fence practices to support production needs and minimize stockouts
• Manage Vendors: Evaluate vendor reliability, develop alternate sources when needed, and communicate delivery risks to stakeholders
• Control Cost & Quality: Monitor cost, schedule and scope of subcontracts and drive material quality standards while supporting variance resolution

Your profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Education: Recent grad (Within the last 6 months) with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, or related field preferred
• Technical Tools: Basic proficiency in SAP ERP and intermediate Microsoft Excel skills including data analysis functions
• Experience: Internship or limited work experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles with strong desire to learn
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, organization, analytical thinking, and stakeholder collaboration abilities

Salary pay information:

LocationIndicative salary range Leominster, MA United States Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate: US$ 55,000 – US$ 68,000

Hourly rate will depend on the highest level of education completed.
