Graduate assistant (fall)

Pay Range: Targeted salary of $920.54 biweekly, based on education and experience.

Work Schedule: Flexible schedule, 20 hours per week

Position Introduction:

The Graduate Outreach Coordinator is a key collaborator on all outreach & recruitment activities including meeting with prospective students, classroom visits, social media initiatives, events & outreach activities, and other related responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on outreach initiatives to include visiting classes, tabling, presentations, assisting with recruitment events, and other related tasks under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Outreach
• Communicate the student experience from all programs to a variety of audiences, including students, parents, staff, and faculty
• Track leads and ensure timely follow-ups are completed

Required Education and Experience:

Must be current or incoming OU Graduate Student and enrolled in the FALL 2026 semester

• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Enthusiasm and creativity
• Front office phone calls & in-person visitors

Required Certifications and Licenses:

None

Department Preferences:

• At least one significant international or intercultural experience
• Interest in the field of international education as a career path
• Experience in public relations, marketing, or advertising
• Experience working with college students
