We are seeking a strategic and results-driven General Manager to lead our Elevator Controls and Vantage Sacramento operations as part of the Vantage Elevation family of companies. Requirements

We are searching for a candidate with:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing or operations leadership experience, including responsibility for a facility, plant, or business unit.
• Demonstrated success leading organizational transformation, operational improvements, and change management initiatives.
• Experience establishing processes, systems, and performance metrics within evolving or previously informal operating environments.
• Strong people leadership skills with the ability to build trust, develop talent, and drive engagement across a diverse workforce.
• Financial acumen, including experience managing operating budgets and interpreting business performance metrics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
• Proficiency with ERP, MES, or comparable manufacturing and business systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or other advanced business or technical degree.
• Experience within electro-mechanical, electronics, controls manufacturing, or other precision manufacturing environments.
• Experience working within a private equity-backed organization or multi-site corporate structure.
• Experience leading ERP or MES implementations or upgrades.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement certifications.

Duties and Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

• Leading all aspects of operations across Elevator Controls and Vantage Sacramento, including manufacturing, engineering support, quality, and customer service.
• Developing and executing annual operating plans aligned with company objectives.
• Establishing operational metrics, management routines, and performance reporting processes.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing lean operating principles.
• Evaluating and improving production planning, materials management, quality, and supply chain processes.
• Supporting the implementation and optimization of business systems and operational technologies.
• Leading organizational change initiatives that foster a structured, process-driven culture while preserving technical excellence and customer relationships.
• Developing future leaders and retaining key technical and operational talent.
• Championing workplace safety and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and company standards.
• Partnering with Finance, Human Resources, IT, Supply Chain, and Product teams to drive alignment and business success.
• Managing operating budgets and ensuring financial performance objectives are achieved.
• Representing the business during corporate operating reviews and leadership meetings.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $230,000-$250,000 annually. Placement will be based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and demonstrated capabilities. 30% incentive compensation opportunity, based on company and individual performance. Position Details

Full-time, exempt position. Based onsite in Sacramento, California. Work environment includes both office and manufacturing floor settings. Regular interaction with manufacturing operations, machinery, and standard industrial environments. Occasional travel to Vantage corporate offices and other Vantage business units may be required.
