The Bellman is responsible for welcoming guests upon arrival and providing prompt, courteous assistance with luggage at check-in and check-out. This position serves as a knowledgeable resource on the hotel and surrounding community, supports valet and door operations as needed, and safeguards guest property in accordance with company procedures. The Bellman delivers AAA Parking's standard of Excellence at Every Turn throughout each guest's stay.

The following duties are performed as business needs require but are not essential functions of the position:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and management, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Knowledge of (or ability to learn) the property layout and the surrounding community, including local events, dining, and attractions. If operating vehicles as part of valet coverage: valid driver's license and ability to meet insurability standards per Company policy. Previous experience in hospitality, bell service, valet, or customer service. (Preferred) Multilingual skills, particularly in languages, are common to the local guest population. (Preferred)
Ability to remain on foot and move about the property frequently for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift, with standard breaks). Ability to move, lift, push, or pull luggage and packages weighing up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation, using bell carts and other provided equipment. Ability to traverse guest floors, lobbies, curb areas, and storage rooms, including navigating elevators and doorways with loaded carts. Ability to work outdoors at the entrance and curb in varying weather conditions. Ability to exchange accurate information with guests and coworkers in person and by telephone. Work environment: hotel lobby, guest floors, entrance, curb, and adjacent outdoor areas with regular exposure to vehicle traffic.
