Who we are looking for

We are looking for a Vice President to help lead the establishment of the Financing Solutions Front Office Trading Services (FOTS FS) team and drive strategic FOTS initiatives, aimed at automation, process improvement, risk controls enhancement and AI adoption. This role will report to the Global Head of Front Office Trading Services and work closely with the Head of FOTS Financing Solutions, to design and implement a scalable, controlled, and sustainable support model within an accelerated timeframe.

The successful candidate will provide hands-on leadership across organizational design, governance, risk and controls, documentation, role definition, procedures, training, implementation tracking, and executive communications. The role will also develop a clear understanding of the Financing Solutions ecosystem from the Front Office through Operations and Technology, enabling the team to establish the applications, functional roles, and entitlements required to support business-as-usual activities.

State Street Markets supports institutional clients through trading, securities lending, financing, liquidity, and innovative portfolio solutions. Front Office Trading Services provides front-office-aligned execution and post-execution support for Foreign Exchange business and is expanding its Financing Solutions coverage through a dedicated support model for Agency Lending, Secured Financing, and Prime Services. This role will be central to establishing the North America team, transitioning agreed activities from the Front Office to FOTS, and embedding the governance, controls, documentation, and capabilities required for sustainable support and global rollout.

What you will be responsible for

As a Front Office Trading Services Vice President, you will:

• Lead the rapid stand-up of the North America Financing Solutions FOTS team, partnering with the Global Head of FOTS, the Head of FOTS Financing Solutions, and key business stakeholders to define the target operating model, organizational structure, implementation plan, and transition priorities.
• Help define and document roles, responsibilities, ownership, decision rights, coverage expectations, escalation paths, and handoffs across FOTS, Financing Solutions Front Office, Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and other partner functions.
• Establish a comprehensive delivery plan and governance cadence; organize, drive, and track milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and actions to ensure business target dates and transition commitments are met.
• Assist in developing and maintaining executive-level materials, including implementation updates, governance reporting, status dashboards, risk and issue summaries, decision papers, and periodic communications for senior stakeholders.
• Design and document the risk and control framework for the new support model, including key controls, evidence requirements, escalation standards, issue management, and readiness criteria, while ensuring alignment with applicable regulatory requirements and deadlines.
• Map the end-to-end Financing Solutions ecosystem from the Front Office through Operations and Technology, documenting products, workflows, systems, data dependencies, upstream and downstream touchpoints, and functional ownership.
• Identify, document, and coordinate the applications, system roles, data access, and functional entitlements required for FOTS FS users to support business-as-usual activities in a controlled and timely manner.
• Assist in creating operating procedures, process maps, control documentation, training materials, knowledge articles, and readiness checklists to support onboarding, cross-training, consistent execution, and sustainable knowledge transfer.
• Assist in coordinating functional migrations from the Front Office to FOTS, including scope validation, testing, access readiness, training, parallel support, acceptance criteria, issue resolution, and post-transition stabilization.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
• 10+ years of experience within financial services, capital markets, foreign exchange, securities finance, secured financing, prime services, agency lending, trading support, middle office, front-office operations, including leadership responsibility.
• Demonstrated experience establishing or transforming front-office-aligned support teams, operating models, or control frameworks in a regulated financial-services environment.
• Strong program execution skills, including delivery planning, governance, dependency management, risk and issue tracking, executive reporting, documentation, and stakeholder coordination.
• Working knowledge of Foreign Exchange or Financing Solutions products and front-to-back workflows, with the ability to understand systems, data flows, operational handoffs, and access requirements.
• Proven ability to develop procedures, process maps, role and responsibility matrices, training materials, control documentation, and implementation-readiness criteria.
• Experience partnering with Sales & Trading, Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Information Security, and Access Management functions to establish controlled production support capabilities is preferred.

Salary Range:

$110,000 - $188,750 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
