ASRC Federal Facilities Logistics, LLC, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Facilities Specialist to support a prime program at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD. This is a part-time, temporary, on-call position.

Position Summary:

Primarily responsible for developing FOC SOP and training/development for staff as needed at NASA Goddard for the ROME contract. Position reports directly to the CPP/FOC Manager; functions independently with management direction and review.

Major Job Activities:

• Developing FOC SOPs for:
• Incident notifications
• Emergency response procedures
• Training on:
• Console systems and alarm monitoring
• Center-wide notifications
• Proper maintenance of logs and records
• Proper operation of Metasys Energy Management Systems

Works with minimal direct supervision. Complies with applicable federal, state, NASA, GSFC, and Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) environmental laws and regulations.

Material & Equipment Directly Used:

Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

Maryland 3rd Class Stationary Engineers license or associate degree in technical field.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Five (5) years’ experience in developing Emergency and trouble call procedures and response plans.
• Training, managing, and supervising crew implementing the procedures and plans.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving Record.
• Ability to solve problems and work independently or with minimal supervision in a team-oriented atmosphere.
• Familiarity with facilities/infrastructure codes and standards, as applicable.
• Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional & courteous manner in diverse situations.
• Demonstrated working ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Specialized areas of performance:

• Experience with Maximo or similar computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Experience with NCC/Siemens fire alarm systems.
