Facilities electrician - $34.00 - $39.00/hr

Responsibilities

Job Summary: The Maintenance Department is currently seeking an experienced Facilities Electrician with a working knowledge for the following:

• Electrical code (NEC codes)
• Electrical mathematics
• Solid State control devices
• ARC Flash codes
• Moving receptacles; adding receptacles or lights to an existing circuit; and moving or adding switches to an existing circuit;
• Replacing a panel with a like-for-like panel, or replacing motor with a like-for-like motor;
• Adding a circuit to an existing conduit home run.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess:

• 3-5 years experience troubleshooting electrical systems, electronic and all equipment
• Completion of an accredited trade school or four years of electrical experience with a strong maintenance background.
• The ability to differentiate colors
• Solid reading and verbal/written communication skills, and ability to keep accurate written records
• The ability to handle multiple tasks/jobs
• Excellent people skills
• Solid computer skills various computer programs (Word, Excel)
• Demonstrable communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking), and ability to keep accurate written records.
• POSITION REQUIRES FULL AVAILABILITY TO WORK A VARIETY OF SHIFTS, INCLUDING WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS.
