Experienced PCA/CNA/Caregiver Needed – Atlanta, GA

Schedule: 11:00 AM–4:00 PM

Pay: $14–$16/hr

Job Description

Always Best Care–Atlanta is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and experienced caregiver to assist a client in their home. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mobility assistance and patient transfers, particularly using Hoyer lifts and sit-to-stand lifts.

This position requires someone who understands safe transfer techniques and can provide consistent support while helping the client maintain independence, comfort, and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mobility, positioning, and safe transfers.
• Operate various patient lifts safely, including Hoyer and sit-to-stand lifts.
• Provide medication reminders according to the established schedule.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment.
• Follow safety precautions to help prevent falls.
• Follow the established care plan and safe caregiving practices.
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition or care needs.
• Communicate effectively with office staff regarding care and safety concerns.

Requirements

• Previous caregiving or healthcare experience.
• Hands-on experience using various patient lifts, especially Hoyer and sit-to-stand lifts.
• Experience assisting clients with mobility challenges.
• Current, unexpired CPR and First Aid certification.
• Clear TB test result dated within the past year.
• Dependability, patience, and professionalism.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to follow care instructions and work independently.
• Ability to pass a background check.
