Job Summary:

Exhibits strong communication skills; answers guest questions and interacts constantly with guests. Physical demands include constant walking, standing for extended periods, pulling/pushing, repetitive sweeping motion, and lifting trash can liners that may weigh 30-50 lbs.; high guest interaction while working independently; extensive cleaning including restrooms and toilets; working with cleaning chemicals and equipment; bussing tables and helping to set-up rooms; sweeping and mopping; emptying trash cans, lifting heavy garbage bags; picking up debris, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning conference rooms; and providing excellent service to guests. May assist with coat check and directing guests to the right locations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Must have a High School diploma or GED. Those hired prior to 1/1/2012, may qualify under the previous requirements of completion of the eighth grade.

License & Cert:

Experience:

Minimum of 3 year experience in the Environmental Services or customer service field. Prefer 1-2 years of related event set-up or housekeeping experience.

Other Qualifications:

Must have a strong working knowledge of various floor care maintenance procedures including terrazzo cleaning and restoration. Basic computer skills required. Must be able to lift 75 pounds and push/pull up to 300 pounds. Must be willing to work flex hours in coordination with event schedule.
