Engineering associate technician

Location: 4870 W 2100 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84120

Compensation Range: $23 per hour

Shift: 8-4:30 PST (candidate should have flexibility in start/end time as these will vary based on what they are supporting)

Our client, medical technology (MedTech) company located in Salt Lake City, UT looking to hire Engineering.

CLEAN ROOM ENVIRONMENT

Works under limited supervision assisting engineers, scientists, and/or teams in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assemble prototypes/products per design plan.
• Test prototypes per engineering instructions and document test results.
• Assist engineering teams to obtain supplies and services.
• Communicate assignment status to project engineers.
• Train others on new product processes and procedures.
• Build quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
• Ensure product is tested to the most current/validated method/process and specification and documentation is correctly completed per GLP & QS requirements as applicable.

Qualifications/Work Experience Required:

• Bench fixturing/tooling design experience (prototyping, so needs to be good with hands)
• Experience working with external vendors
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Apply a high-level of quality to work
• Ability to multi-task

Education:

• Two-year Technical Degree (i.e., AA, Certificate) and/or equivalent experience

Preferred Experience:

• 2+ years' of technical work experience in medical device development preferred

Notes: Full onsite role, no traveling

Will train those identified for this role

Work Schedule:

8-430 or 7-330 or 6-230 (half hour lunch, no set lunchtime though)
