Job Summary: The Employee Relations Supervisor provides day-to-day supervision, coaching, and guidance to the Employee Relations team while ensuring employee concerns, investigations, disciplinary matters, and workplace issues are addressed fairly, consistently, and in accordance with company policies and applicable employment laws. The Employee Relations Supervisor serves as a key advisor to the Workforce Services team, site Industrial Relations representatives, Legal Counsel and Project Leadership teams on employee relations matters. The role will be pivotal in supporting the resolution of workplace concerns through effective case management, investigations, coaching, and conflict resolution whilst identifying trends and opportunities for continuous improvement. Major Responsibilities:
Education and Experience Requirements: Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8 -10 years of relevant employee relations, labor relations or human resources experience or 12-14 years of relevant employee relations, labor relations or human resources work experience in lieu of degree.
Required Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrated experience conducting workplace investigations and resolving complex employee relations issues. Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including EEOC, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, anti-harassment, discrimination, and retaliation requirements. Strong understanding of employee discipline, performance management, and separation processes. Ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment. Experience handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Strong written communication and reporting skills. Ability to influence and build productive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
