Job Summary:

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops and maintains subject matter expertise (SME) in departmental operations; serves as a resource and fills in across functions as needed to support business demands.
- Partners with New Hire Orientation to welcome and onboard new employees; provides facility orientation (e.g., parking, entrances, badge access, time clocks, common areas) and supports their transition into the department.
- Collaborates with the Distribution Coordinator to determine training plans and work assignments for new hires.
- Serves as the primary trainer for new and existing employees; conducts onboarding, cross-training, retraining, and recertification activities as needed.
- Maintains and manages Agile-related documentation and paperwork, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Partners with the OTC department to review, update, and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Provides operational support by assuming Coordinator responsibilities in their absence or as required.
- Completes required certification and safely operates powered industrial trucks (PIT) or other equipment, as needed based on departmental requirements.
- Works to deliver day-to-day objectives with significant impact on achievement of production-related results for the job area, including business, material, or equipment implications.
- Requires advanced knowledge of operational systems and practices typically gained through prior work experience and/or education.
- As business needs dictate, works extended hours to complete daily department goals or tasks to include mandatory overtime.

QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Requires advanced knowledge of operational systems and practices typically gained through prior work experience and/or education.
- Demonstrated proficiency in departmental processes with the ability to achieve and maintain Subject Matter Expert (SME) status.
- Willingness and ability to train, coach, and develop employees in a hands-on environment.
- Ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., Distribution Coordinator, OTC).
- Capable of stepping into Coordinator-level responsibilities and making sound decisions when needed.
- Willingness and ability to onboard new hires and conduct retraining or recertification activities.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

- Ability to use assigned computer systems.
Work Environment:
Works in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures, moving equipment, and moderate to high noise levels. Requires standing and walking for extended periods, frequent bending, squatting, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling, and occasional climbing or kneeling. Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds, use manual dexterity for scanning, packing, and handling products, maintain hand-eye coordination, and occasionally operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and man-up machines.
Experience:
- Willingness to learn all departmental operations required.
- Prior experience in a lead, trainer, or peer-mentor role strongly preferred.
- Experience/training in PIT operation preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in distribution, warehouse, or operations environment.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $23.00 and $26.50 per hour and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
