Job Description

What You’ll Do:

  • Grow the database:
    • Win new members from the Colorado Springs and Pueblo corridor through geo-targeted digital, social, CTV, radio, and out-of-home.
    • Focus acquisition spend on the guests with the highest lifetime value potential, not just the most sign-ups.
    • Build activation programs that turn a first visit into a second and third.
  • Grow customer lifetime value:
    • Lead Chamonix Rewards, including tier strategy, segmentation, and personalized offers that increase carded play and trip frequency.
    • Own direct marketing: the right guest, the right offer, the right time, with reinvestment set by what a guest is worth over time rather than on a single trip.
    • Spot declining guests early and win them back before they’re gone.
    • Partner with player development so host outreach and marketing offers work together.
  • Build the brand:
    • Position Chamonix as Southern Colorado’s mountain escape and give Bronco Billy’s a clear, distinct role alongside it.
    • Lead creative, content, PR, and agency partners so both brands speak with one voice in every channel.
    • Market the full resort (hotel, dining, spa, entertainment, and events) to drive overnight stays and length of stay.
  • Lead with data:
    • Set annual and quarterly plans and budgets, and report on KPIs and campaign ROI.
    • Use guest research, database analytics, and competitive data to decide where to spend and what to stop.
  • Lead the team:
    • Build and mentor teams across acquisition, retention, and entertainment. Work side by side with gaming, hotel, food and beverage, and finance so marketing is the hub of the guest experience.
    • Represent the properties with local businesses, tourism partners, and the Cripple Creek community.

What You Bring:

  • A track record of revenue and market share growth you can quantify. Launch or turnaround experience preferred.
  • Depth in casino database marketing, loyalty, CRM, and digital.
  • Fluency in customer lifetime value: you can read a P&L and defend reinvestment decisions by segment. Experience building teams and managing agencies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred. Colorado or regional gaming experience a plus.
  • 7+ years of progressive marketing leadership in gaming, hospitality, or resorts.

Who This Is Not For

  • Someone who wants to be told what to do. You’ll set the direction and own the results.
  • Someone who wants to run marketing from inside the marketing department. This job lives on the casino floor and in every other department’s business.
  • Someone looking to maintain what’s already here. We’re hiring to change it.

How Success Is Measured:

  • Year-over-year net revenue growth
  • Cripple Creek market share and share of Colorado Springs gaming spend
  • Customer lifetime value by segment, and the share of new members who become high-value guests
  • Active membership, carded play, and trip frequency
  • Hotel occupancy and RevPAR
  • Guest satisfaction/NPS
  • marketing ROI

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

$150,000 annually + based on experience.
