About the Role

As Director of Global Campaigns within Elsevier's A&G business, you will lead global campaign planning, strategy, and performance across key portfolios. You will bring together global and local priorities into a unified campaign approach, ensuring consistent execution, strong stakeholder alignment, and measurable business outcomes. This role combines strategic leadership, operational excellence, and team development in a highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead global campaign planning, strategy, and performance for A&G portfolios
• Integrate and prioritize briefs from both central and local teams into a unified campaign roadmap and execution plan
• Ensure regional and Audience/Solution liaisons from your team are effectively engaging, capturing market needs and solution priorities across global and local campaigns
• Oversee messaging alignment with Content Marketing to ensure consistency across campaigns
• Coordinate execution across Audience, Field, Demand & Lifecycle, Content Marketing, Creative, and Operations teams, ensuring delivery quality and prioritization
• Lead campaign performance reviews and drive strategic optimization planning
• Drive team performance through coaching, clear goal-setting, and accountability
• Reports into VP of Demand & Lifecycle Marketing

Requirements

• Strong experience leading teams delivering campaign or demand generation programs in a B2B environment
• Proven stakeholder and cross-functional leadership across Marketing and other functions (e.g., Product, Sales, Customer Success)
• Experience leading scalable digital marketing programs and managing global-to-local campaign execution
• Operationally strong, with the ability to drive performance through data, martech, and structured processes
• Excellent stakeholder leadership skills with the ability to influence without authority
• Strong commercial, martech, and measurement fluency

If performed in New York City, the base pay range is $114,300 - $190,500. U.S. National Base Pay Range: $95,300 - $158,800. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. Primary Location Base Pay Range: NLD Amsterdam (Radarweg) €100,400 - €167,300. This role is covered by the Collective Labor Agreement Publishing Industry.
