Seeking a Director of Engineering to oversee an historic boutique hotel.

Qualifications

• minimum 2 years as a Dir of Engineering
• minimum 4 years in hospitality
• Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance and hotel building systems, with solid troubleshooting skills.
• Proven experience leading non-union teams and managing vendors and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and develop the Engineering team while staying hands-on with troubleshooting, repairs, and daily needs.
• Oversee preventative maintenance for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and building systems, and keep guest rooms and public areas in good physical condition.
• Manage vendors, contractors, and bids, plus the engineering budget and capital projects, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, audits, and Crescent standards.
