At Living Innovations, we don’t just fill jobs—we build community. We are looking for dependable, big-hearted folks to join us as Direct Support Professionals and Job Coaches. If you are the kind of person who rolls up their sleeves, treats everyone with respect, and wants to help others live their best, most independent lives, we want to talk to you. No experience? No problem. If you’ve got the heart for it, we will train you.
This isn't a desk job. You’ll be out in the community and in homes, working one-on-one with good people who just need a helping hand to reach their goals and live with dignity. Help with everyday tasks like dressing, meal preparation, personal hygiene, and health needs. Provide transportation to medical appointments, community outings, and social activities. Help individuals develop life skills, enjoy hobbies, and get involved in local clubs, civic groups, or faith-based organizations. Work one-on-one to help individuals learn and accurately perform their job responsibilities. Keep honest records, show up on time, and always act as a positive role model. Ask about our Nature Trek roles, where you can lead outdoor adventures like hiking, camping, and kayaking to teach valuable life skills.
We take care of the people who take care of our community. When you join our team, you can expect:
You don’t need a fancy degree to do this work, but you do need to be reliable, thoughtful, and ready to learn. A high school diploma or equivalent. A valid state-issued driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance/registration. The ability to pass comprehensive background checks. Must be able to provide 2 professional references. A willingness to complete paid training certifications (like the CDS modules) within your first few weeks. Good communication skills, a team-player attitude, and respect for confidentiality.
