DEPARTMENT: Food Service

POSITION: Dining Ambassador (Dietary Aide)

SUPERVISOR: Lead Dining Ambassador/ Dining Supervisor

SHIFTS AVAILABLE: 7A-11A, 11A-2P, 4P-7P

DUTIES:

• Taking food orders and delivering beverage orders.
• Ensuring resident satisfaction and that quality standards and service are being delivered.
• Assisting in bussing and resetting tables.
• Providing quick, efficient, and pleasant delivery of food.
• Overseeing and assisting fellow dining services aides to ensure good customer service, safety, and proper handling of dishes, glassware, and utensils.
• Follows proper sanitation methods for cleaning and storage of dishes.
• Performs duties according to the highest ethical and moral standards and in adherence with the facility’s corporate compliance plan and all applicable governing laws.
• Adheres to the facility’s confidentiality statement in accessing and safeguarding protected health information (PHI) of residents and employees as necessary to perform job duties.
• Performs any other functions as directed by the Dining Supervisor and/or Food Operations Manager.

Qualifications:

• Must have or currently be eligible for a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in Senior Living preferred.
• Must have excellent verbal communication skills, a high degree of service orientation, and a positive attitude.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Must have flexibility with schedule.
• Must enjoy working with the senior population.
• Must be able to lift 30lbs.
• Must be able to stand for at least 3.5 hours.
