Dental assistant (surgical & restorative)

Preferred Search Group is partnering with a well-established, privately owned general dental practice in The Woodlands, TX, to find an experienced Dental Assistant who enjoys staying busy, takes initiative, and is passionate about providing excellent patient care.

This opportunity is ideal for an organized, motivated professional with experience in both surgical procedures and restorative dentistry who takes pride in helping a dental practice run smoothly.

Schedule

Tuesday–Thursday: 7:30 AM–5:00 PM, focused on restorative dentistry
Two Fridays per month: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, assisting a visiting periodontist

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist with restorative dental procedures.
• Provide surgical assistance and support during periodontal procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials.
• Maintain an organized, efficient clinical environment.
• Anticipate the needs of the dentist and help keep appointments running smoothly.
• Ensure patients feel comfortable and well cared for throughout their visits.

Previous dental assisting experience.
Experience with surgical procedures and restorative dentistry is required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a busy clinical setting.
Self-motivated, dependable, and driven to do quality work.
A proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
A team-oriented mindset and commitment to excellent patient care.
