Quantum Sky is seeking motivated Cyber Real Time Analyst to join our Network Assurance and Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) team supporting the Defense Information Systems Agency Pacific (DISA PAC) at Ford Island, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, HI. Operating under the Global Services Management – Operations II (GSM-O II) Task Order 22 (TN22) Boundary Cyber Defense and Cybersecurity Services Provider (CSSP) contract, this 24/7/365 watch cell serves as the premier frontline shield protecting the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN/DISN), U.S. Pacific Command (USPACOM), and critical mission partner enclaves against sophisticated advanced persistent threats and nation-state cyber actors.
In this role, you will execute real-time boundary intrusion detection, cross-enclave incident response, and advanced security monitoring spanning multiple classification levels—from enterprise Unclassified (NIPRNet) and Secret (SIPRNet) to Top Secret/SCI and specialized compartmented environments. You will directly defend critical boundary infrastructure (IAPs, BCAPs, DMZs) and high-priority regional assets such as the PACOM Mission Network (PMN) and Joint Operational Edge – Coalition Environment (JOE-CE).
Responsibilities:
- Enterprise Boundary Defense & 24/7 Watch Operations
- 24/7/365 Real-Time Triage & Monitoring: Monitor and analyze intrusions, events, and vulnerabilities across DISA’s Enterprise Boundaries—including Internet Access Points, Boundary Cloud Access Points, Enterprise Recursive Services, and Releasable/Federal DODIN De-Militarized Zones.
- Multi-Source Event Correlation: Correlate disparate data sources—network alerts, NetFlow, raw packet captures, Deep Packet Inspection, Deep File Inspection, Anomaly Based Protection, and IDS/IPS logs—to rapidly confirm or refute malicious intrusion attempts.
- Tool Configuration & Threat Hunting: Utilize and recommend tuning for boundary cyber defense platforms, including Cisco FirePOWER, Next Generation Sensors, Arbor, Guardian, Web Content Filtering, Cloud-Based Internet Isolation, and BIND9 DNS security.
- Incident Escalation & Reporting: Populate and maintain records in the DoD-mandated Incident Reporting Structure (currently Rally) in strict compliance with CJCSM 6510.01F timelines, authoring Situational Awareness Reports (SARs) and Tippers for DJOC and combatant commanders.
- Cybersecurity Services Provider (CSSP) Operations
- Advanced Enterprise SIEM Analytics: Conduct deep-dive security analytics using DISA’s enterprise SIEM ecosystems: Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel / Azure Lighthouse, and Elastic Stack.
- Cross-Layer Zero Trust Correlation: Correlate endpoint telemetry (Microsoft Defender for Endpoint/Server, Sysmon/WEF, EndGuard) and identity logs with perimeter alerts to establish end-to-end attack kill chains across Zero Trust (ZT) pillars.
- Proactive Defense & Countermeasures: Recommend custom detection signatures (Antivirus, IDS/IPS, WCF, ERS), tuning, and countermeasure actions for emerging threats, web exploits, and SQL injections; coordinate rapid de-confliction.
- Mission Partner Coordination: Provide direct cyber defense operational support for CSSP subscribers, traditionally hosted data centers, and enterprise cloud enclaves (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI under JWCC).
- Location-Specific & Above-Secret Defense: PACOM & TS/SCI
- PACOM Mission Network (PMN) and Joint Operational Edge – Coalition Environment (JOE-CE) Defense: Execute dedicated cybersecurity operations on the PMN and JOE-CE architectures at DISA PAC.
- ICAM & Behavioral Analysis: Perform continuous monitoring of Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) telemetry and Master User Records to spot anomalies and Insider Threat indicators via User and Entity Behavioral Analytics.
- SCIF-Based Multi-Level Operations: Conduct classified network assurance operations up to Top Secret / SCI (YLAN and JWICS) in designated Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF), adhering to strict Compartmented / SAP security constraints.
- Operational Command Synchronization: Coordinate in real-time with the DISA Joint Operations Center (DJOC), USPACOM J6, DoD Cyber Defense Command (DCDC), USCYBERCOM, and peer CSSPs to synchronize defense priorities.
