Overview

This position will be responsible for case management in the Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) and Crisis Stabilization Community-Based Services (CSCBS) program, providing outreach and presentations on available services, maintaining client files, covering necessary on-call MCRT day shifts, and providing support and consultation to encourage recovery behaviors with consumers in a Mental Health Program.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management services for clients according to program policies.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain client files in accordance with program rules and policies.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with other mental health practitioners, case managers, law enforcement officers, school personnel, hospital personnel, and other interested parties.

Qualifications

Education:

Must meet one of the following:

• Mental health professional as defined in Iowa Code section 228.1
• Bachelor’s degree; or Associate’s degree; or High school diploma

Experience (based on education level noted above):

• Mental health professional: 1 year of mental health experience
• Bachelor’s in human services: 1 year
• Bachelor’s in non-human services: 2 years
• Associate’s degree: 2 years
• High school diploma: 2 years

Licenses/Certifications:

Valid driver’s license and compliance with Eyerly Ball’s auto insurance policy. Must pass criminal records and dependent adult/child abuse checks.
