This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced financial professional who wants to do more than manage numbers. We are looking for someone who can understand the story behind the numbers, anticipate financial challenges, develop solutions, and help position the agency for the future.
As the DMV Controller, you will:

Regular and reliable attendance is required.
The Nebraska DMV is changing the way we do business. We are modernizing systems, evaluating how and where we deliver services, expanding technology, and continually looking for ways to make government more efficient and responsive to the people we serve.
The Controller will have an opportunity to be directly involved in those efforts.
At the DMV, financial management is not simply a back-office function. The decisions made by our financial team affect our ability to serve customers, invest in technology, support employees, meet state and federal requirements, and successfully deliver programs relied upon by Nebraskans every day.
We are looking for someone who wants to bring ideas to the table, challenge assumptions when appropriate, maintain high professional standards, and be part of a leadership team focused on continually improving the organization.
If you are looking for an opportunity to use your financial expertise to make a meaningful difference in state government and in the lives of Nebraskans, we encourage you to apply.
Join the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles and help us build the financial foundation for the DMV of the future.
