Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and consultative construction professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, with a particular emphasis on writing scopes of work and developing Requests for Proposals (RFPs). This role requires a strategic thinker who can act as a trusted advisor to our clients, guiding them through the complexities of construction projects and ensuring successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Scope of Work and RFP Development: Draft comprehensive scopes of work for various construction projects, ensuring all aspects of the project are covered and aligned with client goals. Develop detailed and accurate RFPs to solicit bids from qualified contractors and vendors, providing strategic guidance to clients on vendor selection and contract negotiation.
• Construction Administration: Oversee day-to-day construction operations, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Manage construction documentation, including submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), change orders, and daily logs.
• Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, fostering long-term relationships based on trust and mutual respect.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Communication and Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and consultative relationship.
• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies, providing clients with expert advice on risk management.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience: MUST live in the Denver area • Bachelor's degree in business management, Construction Management, or related field. Qualifying experience in the roofing industry can be considered in lieu of degree • Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible managerial and administrative experience in the construction and roofing field, 5 years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity. • OSHA Certifications and experience with project site safety protocols.

Pay and Benefits

$100,000 - $120,000 / year, depending on education and experience. Performance Bonus/Commission paid Quarterly.
