We are currently looking for a Commercialization & Project Management Manager to join our team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Commercialization & Project Management Manager (CPMM) you own and lead the commercialization process across the organization by establishing project management standards, overseeing the project portfolio, developing commercialization processes, and ensuring successful execution of strategic customer and internal initiatives.

This role is responsible for ensuring the organization can successfully scale commercialization activities while balancing customer expectations, operational capabilities, profitability, and long-term business objectives.

In this role, you will:

1. Own the Commercialization Portfolio
   • Oversee all customer commercialization projects across the business
   • Prioritize projects based on strategic value and organizational capacity
   • Ensure project resources are aligned with business priorities
   • Monitor portfolio health, risks, and execution performance

   Translation: Own the big picture and make sure the organization is working on the right things.

2. Lead Project Management Resources
   • Direct and mentor Commercialization & Project Management (Specialists)
   • Establish project management standards and expectations
   • Support project teams in resolving complex challenges
   • Drive accountability for project execution across the organization

   Translation: Build and lead the project management function.

3. Drive Strategic Customer Launches
   • Lead high-profile customer launches and business initiatives
   • Serve as executive escalation point for critical projects
   • Coordinate leadership involvement when needed
   • Ensure strategic projects meet customer and company expectations

   Translation: Own the projects that matter most.

4. Build Commercialization Processes and Systems
   • Develop stage-gate processes, templates, and project governance
   • Standardize reporting, timelines, and risk management tools
   • Improve commercialization workflows across all facilities
   • Reduce launch cycle times and improve execution consistency

   Translation: Create the system that allows projects to scale successfully.

5. Manage Risk and Business Readiness
   • Monitor commercialization risks across the organization
   • Lead mitigation planning for capacity, supply chain, quality, and timing concerns
   • Escalate business risks to leadership
   • Ensure launches are operationally ready before execution

   Translation: Identify business problems before customers do.

6. Align Cross-Functional Leadership Teams
   • Partner with Operations, Sales, Procurement, Quality, Finance, and R&D leaders
   • Facilitate executive project reviews
   • Resolve competing priorities and resource conflicts
   • Drive collaboration between departments

   Translation: Break down silos and keep everyone aligned.

7. Develop Business Improvement Initiatives
   • Lead operational improvement projects
   • Support ERP, system, and process enhancement initiatives
   • Measure commercialization performance and identify opportunities
   • Drive continuous improvement efforts

   Translation: Make the business better, not just busier.

Location: Grand Rapids, MI, South Beloit, IL or Easton, PA

Department: Sales

Reports To: General Manager and VP of Sales

Shift: 1st Shift

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay: Commensurate with experience, with an annual salary range of $75,000–$95,000.

Overtime: This is an exempt position and is not eligible for overtime.

Travel: Willingness to travel between all three locations when needed.
