Job Description
Responsibility Summary
Under the direction of the licensed nursing personnel, performs direct and indirect designated resident care within the scope of practice as defined by the certification.
Qualifications
Education
- Minimum: Must be able to read and write English
- Preferred: High School degree or GED
License
- Minimum: Current NYS Nurse Aide Certification
Work Experience
- Preferred: Prior Nursing Assistant and/or LTC experience
Skills
- Minimum: Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner. Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
