About You

You are someone who notices. You notice when a pillow isn't quite right, when a patient seems quieter than usual, or when silence is more comforting than words. You understand that dignity is protected in small moments, that a gentle touch can communicate what words cannot, and that sometimes the most meaningful thing you can do is simply remain. You bring clinical skill, patience, and genuine respect for the person before you. You don't simply care for someone. You recognize someone.

What You'll Do

As a part-time Hospice CNA, you'll provide personal care and comfort to patients throughout the Portland area.

• Provide bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal care with dignity.
• Assist with mobility, positioning, and transfers safely and respectfully.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the RN Case Manager.
• Build trusting relationships with patients, families, and care community staff.
• Respect patient choices, privacy, and independence.
• Collaborate with our hospice team and document care accurately.
• Bring a calm, reassuring presence to vulnerable moments.

What We're Looking For

• Current Oregon CNA certification.
• Hospice, home health, or elder care experience preferred.
• Compassionate communication and strong observational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Dependable transportation.
• A commitment to our relationship-first approach to care.
