DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM THIS ROLE

• Flex position: 1 twelve-hour shift per pay period
• Variable shifts
• Shift differentials apply
• Opportunity to work in a fast-paced emergency care environment while supporting patients across a variety of ages, conditions, and acuity levels
• Perform EKGs, collect blood specimens through phlebotomy, and support patient care activities
• Function as a Health Unit Coordinator, assisting with communication, documentation, and coordination of patient care activities
• Collaborative team culture focused on exceptional patient care and professional growth
• Comprehensive unit orientation consisting of 4 weeks, with two 12-hour shifts per week during the orientation period

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous Emergency Department experience
• EMT experience
• Military Medic experience
• Prior experience performing EKGs and phlebotomy

QUALIFICATIONS: CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA)

Experience

• Minimum of 6 months of direct patient care experience required

Licenses/Certifications

• Current CNA Certification in the state of practice
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification
