Job Description

We are seeking reliable, compassionate, professional, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our team. As a CNA, you will provide essential support to patients in various healthcare settings, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position offers flexible scheduling; however, we are prioritizing candidates who can commit to a consistent weekly schedule. All staff are required to work every other Saturday & Sunday. Employees can also complete double shifts.

Openings: 7AM-3PM (DAY) and 3PM-11PM (EVE)

Job Location: Blairstown, NJ 07825

The hourly rate is $25/hr. and the overtime & holiday rate is $37.50/hr.

Our pay period is Sunday to Saturday and pay is weekly (every Friday via direct deposit).

All staff are required to have a New Jersey CNA Certificate. Please DO NOT apply if you do not have a NJ CNA certificate.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal assistance.
  • Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
  • Provide mobility assistance, including transferring patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, and other locations.
  • Support nursing and medical staff in the delivery of quality patient care.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols.
  • Build positive relationships with patients, families, and staff to foster a supportive environment.
  • Participate in training and ongoing education to enhance skills and knowledge in patient care.

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a CNA training program. Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to the fast-paced healthcare environment. Basic understanding of patient care procedures and safety protocols.
