Clinical Manager – Orthotics & Prosthetics

Lead. Collaborate. Help Patients Regain Independence. Methodist Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Manager – Orthotics & Prosthetics to join our Cleveland team. This leadership role offers the opportunity to oversee daily clinical operations, support a talented O&P team, and help ensure patients receive high-quality, compassionate care.

The Clinical Manager works closely with the Department Director and serves as a key leader in clinical operations, personnel management, quality, compliance, business development, and departmental performance.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee the daily operations of the Orthotics & Prosthetics clinical practice.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to clinical staff.
• Promote a positive, collaborative, and team-oriented work environment.
• Assist with staffing decisions and provide recommendations regarding personnel needs and performance.
• Support high-quality, patient-centered clinical care.
• Work with the Operations Assistant on compliance, coding, and billing activities.
• Assist with maintaining compliance with ABC, The Joint Commission (TJC), CARF, and applicable state Department of Health standards.
• Support quality improvement and departmental initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with physicians, nurses, therapists, patients, referral sources, and community partners.
• Identify opportunities for new business and referral development.
• Assist with departmental budgeting, expense management, and resource planning.
• Provide clinical expertise and recommendations to members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Maintain professional credentials, continuing education, and involvement in applicable professional organizations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Director.

Qualifications:

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• ABCOP certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics, or both preferred/required as applicable to the position.
• 2–5 years of experience in the orthotics and prosthetics field.
• Strong clinical knowledge and professional judgment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and personnel management abilities.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, patients, and other healthcare professionals.
• A commitment to teamwork, quality patient care, and professional excellence.
