MEDEX STAFFING NETWORK LLC is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding assistance
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff promptly
  • Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment in compliance with facility standards
  • Support activities of daily living (ADLs) while promoting patient dignity and independence
  • Communicate effectively with RNs, LVNs, and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with facility protocols

Requirements:

  • Active California CNA certification in good standing
  • Current CPR/BLS certification required
  • Prior experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or long-term care setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of infection control and HIPAA compliance standards
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills
  • Physical ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients as required by the role
